Staff is pleasant!!!
Our mail in the neighborhood and surrounding areas have all had late mail deliveries, wrong mail delivered, etc. Shame on the new Post Master!
Delivery section is a detriment to the quality of service the retail side can provide. With that being said, the clerk's at the retail store do their best to make each visit quick and easy.
Says i got a package in locker but never got a key dont understand why?!?!
One of my packages was mislabeled with the wrong address, and the 800 number suggested I go to the delivery center that it was sent to, to see if I could pick it up before it was redirected to the original sender. I parked in the back only to find two doors said 'Employees Only'. A nice woman walking by asked if I needed help and told me to go to the front for what I needed. There was construction going on, and a worker asked me to move my car to the grass because of the crane being in use. I asked how do I get in, and he told me that I have to wait outside, in the cold and wait until someone answers the door bell. He suggested I keep ringing it until I get someone to the door, which I did. I stood outside for 20 minutes ringing the bell in the cold, until someone finally answered. Instead of being nice and apologizing for the wait in the cold, he immediately started yelling at me saying that I needed to leave and go around to the other side of the building if I wanted his help. I calmly tried to ask him which door to go to, for I saw two, and he continued to yell at me saying "Can't you see there is construction, you could get hit, things are flying everywhere. YOU NEED TO LEAVE, go to the back NOW!" Mind you, there were no signs saying that I was not allowed to stand there due to construction, which should be necessary if there are any risks standing at the front door. I asked him again which door to go to because I wasn't sure where he was telling me to go, and he continued to scream at me without answering my question. I finally got fed up and told him to watch his attitude with me and that if he'd at least answer my question then Ill go, but he continued to scream that I needed to leave without even giving me a chance to talk. I told him that after waiting outside for 20 minutes in the cold the least he could do was have respect when talking to me and be calm but instead he was nasty, rude and was not helpful what so ever. He also told me that if I don't go to the back then I should just leave and threatened to not help me. He actually threatened! I walked around the back where a nice lady actually found me, on the verge of tears from my encounter with the other man. I asked her what his name was and she told me he was the Postmaster, named Michael Marriotti and she told me that he is actually like that with all his employees but that its not right he talk to customers like that, too. I said that I don't think its right he talk to anyone that way. He seems like a miserable person to work for. The people inside the delivery center were so helpful and went the extra mile to try to find my mislabeled package and told me they'd call me if they found it, and wrote all my information down for me. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, except for Michael Marriotti. If he talks to his customers AND his employees like that, then Michael Marriotti should not continue to have a job working with people. He's completely rude, degrading and really nasty. Just having a five minute encounter with him was enough to put me in tears and I don't think anyone should have to endure that kind of treatment customer OR employee.
