Not terrible for the price. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, TV worked well. However the Air Conditioner was not good at all. It was so hot at night to the point where you would wake up in a puddle of sweat. Opening the window did not help as it would blow in warm air from the bay.
I would have given 4 or 5 stars if the A/C worked well.
Staying the night here was less than a pleasant experience. The entire place is completely run down. The doors to all the rooms are damaged in some way, and the hallway and our room had their own putrid odors. The shower and sink were rusted. The bed sheets have stains, rips, and hair on them. There were bugs in our room. The keys don't work. The list goes on. Not a place I would ever stay again or recommend to anyone else.
The location is decent. Not far from AC shore, but also not super close, which helps on the price end of things. It is a bit cheaper of a hotel and the facility isn't that great, but it's definitely livable and not super gross. There's just some stuff that isn't quite right, like one of the doors to the building not opening with our card. The coffee maker was also a little dirty and gross, but hotel coffee makers usually are in my experience. The bed was plenty comfortable and the chair in the room was pretty comfy too. My only real complaint is the free continental breakfast. It's on the low end for sure. It's really nice to be able to wake up and go have a free hot breakfast in the morning, but when it's just basically bread, muffins, cereal, and coffee, it's a little bit disappointing, but not by much. Overall, this definitely isn't the best hotel, however if you know to expect it to be a little bit messy or maybe not perfectly up to date in design, then it's a good place to stay.
THIS PLACE MADE MY EYE SWELL SHUT!! I USED THEIR TOWELS TO WASH MY FACE & MY EYE STARTED SWELLING IMMEDIATELY. THE COFFEE POT WAS DIRTY, SINK FILTHY, PLACE SMELLS LIKE MOLD & THE KEY CARD STOPPED WORKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. TERRIBLE. THEIR BREAKFAST IS CRAPY AS WELL; HAD CERAL WITH NO MILK OUT. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE PICTURES!! THEY STUCK US IN THE OLDEST MOST RUN DOWN ROOM EVER. WHY WOULD YOU RENT A ROOM YOU HAVEN’T RENOVATED THAT SMELLS LIKE STRAIGHT UP MOLD????!!!!
The hotel is terrible. Customer service is very poor. I asked for the WiFi info and the clerk kept communicating the wrong info, then finally asked me to come to the front desk. The towels are rough. There's only one soap to a bathroom. The bath wasn't cleaned thoroughly. I found a hair strain in the face bowl. There's no fridge and there was a roach in the bed. The place smelled like someone was smoking in it. I would never recommend it to anyone.
