7) My favorite Case Managers/Counselors that i had there were Margo, Meg, and Natalie.
7) My least favorite Case Manager/Counselor that i had there was Kim (The Asian Woman) which she was my first ever Case Manager/Counselor that i had at Crossroads
11) I hate having to switch cases managers/counselors after case managers/counselors and retell my life story each time one leaves the job.
Pros:
12) The so called gym(The gym looks like a warehouse) that they have there is not that clean and some or most of the equipment are damaged obviously by some of the clients
The classes were the same classes recycled over and over again every other week, as to say that the clients must be too stupid or something to realize it or that they just didn't care and was doing them as time a filler. And they go through counselors like they go through under wear, and my last counselor was always short and patronizing towards me. They need to start actually caring about the clients instead their wallets!
1) The Transportation that they provide sucks which the Van ride gets uncomfortable when there's too many clients on board and when some of the client's clothes smells like cigarette smoke.
Cons
8) I dislike sitting in groups almost all day long hearing about other clients problems and miseries which i usually dislike group conversations.
10) When some clients does something that's against the rules every client gets punished by taking away some privileges.
5) Sometimes they have small parties on occasion' "for example' they had a Halloween party in 2010 and they had a costume contest where i won 1st place.
2) They have a gym where clients can go play certain types of sports
Very nice people
3) Sometimes they give clients a special luncheon if they do well with their treatment plan or do well in general there.
Let me first start by saying that Crossroads is a nice program but it does have some negatives i hate about it. Here are my Pros and Cons based on my experience i had when i was a Crossroads member from December 22nd 2009 - October 19th, 2011
2) Most of the Case Managers/Counselors don't legitimately care about they clients for real and just really cares about earning paychecks.
4) Most of the Case Managers/Counselors there are females who are young which for me i much prefer having only females as my Case Manager/Counselor especially since am generally far more comfortable/relaxed around females in general than i am around males. Also a few of the female Case Managers/Case managers i met there are pretty attractive.
If you decide to go to that program do your research to see if that program is right for you. Also when you're starting out your first day or first week at Crossroads i highly recommend to not let them assign a Case Manager/Counselor for you because you might end up having a Case Manager/Counselor you may not like to even work with so it's best to request them in advance who do you want to have as your Case Manager/counselor to work with.
1) Most of the Case Managers/Counselors and staff were pretty nice and friendly.
9) I don't get enough 1 on 1 time with my Case Managers/Counselors that i worked with.
After being there for months I was highly disappointed in their caviller attitudes and lack of caring for the people who ultimately pay the bills there...
Am done with Mental Health Programs/Partial Care Programs entirely.
I have had a very positive and pleasant experience. The staff and treatment I received was great and catered to all my needs. I felt that I got a great education as well as the proper tools to help me in my future and build a better future for myself. I am so very grateful to behavior crossroads and I highly recommend this facility to get the care you need!
5) Most of the clients there are either middle aged or old which is unfortunate for the young folks who attends Crossroads.
4) There was this pretty attractive and athletic build female Case Manager/Counselor named Gloria who told me to go to the director's office because out of anger i slammed my orange seat cushion on the table. Also Gloria is pretty intimidating where she seems to take everything too seriously.
3) Some of the clients (especially that long red haired fat woman named Amanda and that spiky haired old man name Jimmy) whom i encountered gave me some problems.
6) Once in a while they do talent shows where clients can show their talent
I used to go here it and it really helps.
13) I quit Crossroads since Crossroads only gave the female Van Driver a warning when she said something bad too me in the Van and since she wasn't fired and i didn't get my justice so i quit the program even though i eventually got tired of going there anyways.
6) Most of the clients there are smokers which is why i usually do not go outside in the backyard since most of the clients there who smokes goes out in the backyard and smokes during breaks.
