Love love LOVEEEE this place.. When I joined I was 387, blew up to 399, and now I'm 258, and the staff loved me all the same. Kind family oriented establishment. Encouraging and enthusiastic. They will show you how to use equipment and introduce you to new equipment suited for you. The ownership is friendly and down to earth, and works right alongside the staff equally. The comfortability level is on 1000, even if you are morbidly obese. This place beats ANY gym around.. And for what I pay (19.99, 21.43 including tax) I can't beat it!
I really like this place the price is not bad just always packed I repeat always packed Under contract I pay $21 and that is great all the equipment works fine bathrooms are clean employees or helpful and they are very nice. My only complaint is that it’s so many people in there so I think they need to find a better location.
Great gym, great prices, great employees feel welcome every time never feel intimidated everything about this gym beats every other gym around you have everything you need
I've been going to retro since it first opened not only is everyone so friendly but it's perfect for the work out you need to do and go ..I have no complaints at all for the price you can't beat it at all ... smaller is better !
This retro fitness is quite crowded and small. It gets the job done but compared to some other retros I've been to this one is definitely needs some work. Staff are very nice and helpful but the facility itself is a problem IMO. Pros: 2 Squat racks! Nice/helpful staff Cons: The urinal in the mens room barely flushes, water fountain has no pressure, plates are always cracked and broken, fairly small building so things are cramped. Over crowded gym along with small facility and not a lot of staff to handle the volume of people led this gym to a fairly unsatisfying state compared to other retro fitness facilities in new jersey. I think they need to free up some space and update a lot of the equipment in this place to make it better.
