i spent 25 minutes in a line with only 2 people ahead of me to return a pair of pants. I couldn't go down half the isles since there are always pallets of merchandise being slowly shelved on the sales floor. There are no sale signs, so it's always a surprise to see what you actually pay at the register. Pleasant at first, but then the sale abruptly ends and you pay full price. Many shelves are often empty or have items in the wrong place so you have to spend some time reading shelf labels and matching it to the product that you want. There are like 2 shopping baskets for the whole store, so you have to take a shopping cart or carry items in your hand. Prices are unbeatable and the location is convenient. Though I find it weird that this is the only superstore that doesn't carry compact fluorescent lightbulbs. They have old incandescent lightbulbs and a few led lightbulbs instead. I never see any employee facing the store (it desperately needs a clean up), whereas the Mays Landing store is always spotless. If Mays Landing wasn't so far away, I'd recommend everyone just head there instead.
Wow! What a difference. This location is so much more inviting than the Mays Landing location. It's clean, things are very organized, easy to find. The store is very well staffed - you're not spending major time looking for someone, anyone, to answer a question. And those that work there are informed and familiar with the inventory and where things can be found. They're also pleasant and seem happy enough to work there. That's one significant difference between the two locations. Also, bravo on the food market. I would have never bought food from Walmart (just being honest) but I am converted! The fruit is outstanding - fresh, good turnover, plenty of organic to choose from. One wish is that they would expand their organic selections beyond fruits and vegetables to other food items. Otherwise, A+ for our new Walmart!
Its actually better lately .. Its just hard to find good attitudes from employees. There's a few that are cool .. Otherwise the store is pretty good for EDN.
I love the convenience of self checkout, however l was disappointed when one of my items l scanned the price was incorrect which l buy on a regular basis. I told the service representative who assured me she'll let management know! They're getting better with getting the "bugs" out the system but it's still a work in progress.
Loved it, great selection, very helpful staff, clean... Great prices.. Highly recommend
