This kind of bothered me since I came into the eht store end of last week/beginning of this week to buy light for my vehicle & was there for about 15-20 minutes. You can observe a lot in that time. I saw a young man who seemed to be the only one who was doing something. He seemed like a nice productive young man & didn't seem as just an associate . As for the other employees not so much. Whoever the actual manager is should really should see it through he others get their butts in gear instead of standing in one spot cause I can only imagine what they bring other to the store other days. I wish I had introduced myself told him how much of a great job he was doing.
Recently I had my 2007 Chevy Equinox repaired by Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service (located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ). The auto specialist who I spoke with was Larry. I like the fact that he was on point, straight forward (about the issues w/my vehicle), and reassuring that the repairs would be fixed in a professional manner and completed within 2-3 hours. He visually showed me the repairs needed and pointed red flags on what could've happened if I didn't get it repaired that day. Larry knew I was distraught when he printed out the cost to the repairs. Mechanics are usually pretty rough around the edges and you really don't see that sincere/soft side unless your married to one. Solving and fixing problems, then having to deal with cranky customers is pretty exhausting. Larry and his team were sincere 100%. Not only did Larry give me a call to keep me updated on my car during the waiting process, but he went out of his way to find coupons/discounts to cut the repair cost! I highly recommend Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service (located in Egg Harbor Township, NJ). If you want honest auto specialists working on your car, you know where to go!

I arrived early for a scheduled oil change and tire plug and was told there would be a wait of 1.5 hours. This was while one of the staff were selling a walk in customer additional services. After two hours of waiting, they tried to sell me a "brake flush" and headlight buffing while the car was still on a lift. When I refused they admitted the headlight buffing was cosmetic and not necessary but still tried to sell the brake flush. They also forgot to apply a coupon at checkout even though it was initially entered when I checked in. The good price with the free rewards card wasn't worth the wait and shady attempt at selling me additional services.
Ran out of oil 4 separate times in 2 different vehicle and one of them is only a 2015. This store has terrible oil changing technicians. Contacted corporate. Would not recommend to anyone. Pay the extra and go to the dealer.
